Your design stays yours. Everything you send us is covered by these terms automatically, so you don't need to ask for an NDA.

When these terms apply

They cover everything you send Arian Labs about a board: files attached to the enquiry form or an email, files behind a link you share, drawings, parts lists, notes, and anything you tell us about your project. They apply from the moment we receive it, whether or not you go on to place an order.

What we promise

1. Your design is yours. We claim no rights in your designs, files or ideas.
2. We use it only for your job. We use your files to check them, quote, and make and deliver your boards. We never copy, reuse or adapt your design, or make boards from it for anyone else.
3. Only Andrew opens your files. Only Andrew at Arian Labs looks at your files. We don't pass them to anyone else.
4. We don't show your design without permission. We only photograph or show your board if you tick the gallery box on the enquiry form or give us permission in writing. Even then, we won't name you or your organisation unless you agree.
5. We keep files only where the work is done. Your files are kept in our business email (Microsoft 365) and on the computer connected to our printer. If you share a link, we open it to quote and, once you accept the quote, download a working copy to build from.
6. We delete them after 90 days. We delete your files 90 days after your job is finished, or sooner if you ask. If you don't go ahead with an order, we delete them 90 days after we quote.
7. Misprints are destroyed. Misprints, test prints and spare boards carrying your design are destroyed. They are never sold, given away or reused.
8. The promise lasts three years. Your files are deleted after 90 days, but our promise not to use or disclose your design lasts for three years after your job is finished.

If your organisation needs its own NDA

Some universities and companies need their own agreement signed, whatever these terms say. Tick "My organisation needs its own NDA signed" on the enquiry form and include the document with your files: attach it, or put it in the folder you share with us. We'll read it and, if we can agree to it, sign it before we open your files. If we can't agree, we'll delete your files unopened.

The usual exceptions

These promises don't cover information that is already public (other than through us), or anything we are required by law to disclose. If we are ever required to disclose anything, we'll tell you first if the law allows it.
